Jane Ashworth has a niche medico-legal practice providing expert paediatric ophthalmology reports. Expert reports are prepared for the benefit of the Court and she does not distinguish between claimant, defendant or joint instructions.
Her expertise is, however, in respect of paediatric ophthalmology and she will not, therefore, accept instructions in relation to adults.
Her publications and research interests give a flavour of her particular expertise but it should be noted that her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of acute and chronic paediatric ophthalmic conditions and she is therefore extremely well qualified to comment and give an expert opinion.
